5 x 7 HAND FORGED STEEL PICTURE FRAME WITH WOODGRAIN FINISH

This picture frame is made from 1/4 steel and hand forged to give it a woodgrain look. every piece of the frame is hand made except the glass. Each frame comes with a hand forged stand to display it. Photos are easily changed by sliding them in and out through the back.the outside dimensions of the frame is approximately 9 in. tall by 7 in. wide, the inside is 6 1/2 in. tall by 4 1/2 in. wide.

The meaning of Yin-Yang

This Symbol(Yin-Yang) represents the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work. The outer circle represents "everything", while the black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies, called "yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause everything to happen. They are not completely black or white, just as things in life are not completely black or white, and they cannot exist without each other.
While "yin" would be dark, passive, downward, cold, contracting, and weak, "yang" would be bright, active, upward, hot, expanding, and strong. The shape of the yin and yang sections of the symbol, actually gives you a sense of the continual movement of these two energies, yin to yang and yang to yin, causing everything to happen: just as things expand and contract, and temperature changes from hot to cold.

Well I just joined Twitter last night,
I am still learning about the whole Internet thing so everyone will have to bare with me while I get my marbles in order. If anyone has any tips or comments they want to share please let me know.
Also I wanted to let everyone know even with the bad economy that I made 17 sales at the holiday show in New York City, mostly small ticket items but that is OK ! a sale is a sale and it was a great HONOR for me to be in the show, a new experience for me.

Hand Forged Steel Bluegill Dish

I am tired of winter and thinking of spring already, Here is my latest creation fresh from my studio.

Our Bluegill dish is cut from recycled 1/8 in. thick steel and heated to a cherry red and hand forged one at a time into this handy little dish. They can be used to hold spare change, keys, jewelry or what ever else you want to put in them. Do to being hand forged each one will vary a little in size and appearance from the original piece that the pictures were taken of. After they are forged into shape they get wire brushed, heat colored and clear coated with a high quality automotive clear to preserve the natural beauty of the steel.
