The pine cone is made from 1/8" steel cut into a shape that resembles a hair comb. One end is welded to a hand forged stem, it is then heated to a cherry red and wrapped around the stem in a spiral pattern.then each spine is heated and hand formed into shape one at a time.Thursday, August 21, 2008
