Fresh from my studio and new for 2010 and a great new addition to my hand forged leaf dish collection is my Hand Forged Grape Leaf Dish.

Our hand forged grape leaf dish is approx. 6" x 6" It is cut and hand forged out of recycled 1/8" steel and slightly dished out to hold jewelry, keys, candy or what ever you want to put in it. It is heat colored and then clear coated to preserve the natural beauty of the steel for years to come.

inspiration

We all have those days when we ask our selves, is it really worth putting the extra effort to give 110% into every thing we do or make in life ? It seems like I have those days a lot anymore but I keep trying to keep a positive attitude and do the best I can at everything I do. So I felt the need to share this e-mail with you that I have recieved from one of my customers on etsy. It is the little things like this that keeps me giving 110% and I hope with sharing this e-mail with you it will help you keep a positive attitude to do the best you can at everything you do.
Thanks, Darryl

(Howdy!
" I got the rose with ample time, I just wanted to let you know that I was completely thrilled with it. Damn near took my breath away when I opened the package to inspect it; for a moment I thought about keeping it for myself. I'll let you know what the lady thinks when she recieves it."
Thanks again

Snowflake Ornaments

It is that time of year again, and just in time to get ready for the Holiday season are my recycled steel snowflakes. In the first picture the snowflakes are left natural steel that have been heat blued to give them color and then powder coated with a silver metallic clear coat to give them a little sparkle and a glossy non toxic finish that will last for years.
In the second picture they were powder coated with a high gloss white and then re coated with the same silver metallic clear powder coat to give them shine and sparkle.
These snowflake ornaments can be hung on a Christmas tree or tied on packages as a extra little something to go with a gift, you can also use them for decorating or any thing else you want.
These Ornaments can be purchased here in my etsy shop.
